Hi my name is Laura Allison and I’m a Personal Trainer here at New Age Fitness. I chose a career as a personal trainer because of my love for fitness and my passion to help others achieve their fitness goals. Some people say I’m addicted to training (I probably am a bit) but there’s definitely worse things I could be addicted to and this is something I wouldn’t change! There is no better feeling than fit and healthy. I love training with intensity in particular lifting weights and I do like a good bit of cardio.
Like most females I have felt pressured in the past to be a certain weight, restricting myself to food and often obsessing with the scales, I wasn’t confident in my body at all but I can honestly say I am now. I feel fit, strong and happy which is a good place to be. I have finally found a balance that suits my lifestyle.
My mission here at New Age is to help you achieve your goals and feel body confident whether this is to reduce body fat or build lean muscle mass. I promote a sustainable consistent approach so don’t worry you won’t be miserable eating boring food and doing exercise you don’t enjoy. Training plans will be adapted specifically to you and your goals.
Although it will be tough I promise it will be enjoyable. I will support you every step of the way and educate you on training and nutrition best suited to you and your lifestyle so you can take your fitness journey to the next level.
